Tame your Temper!

We all express anger when things don't go our way and we have all felt and faced the consequences of anger. Its really important to control anger before anger controls you ,your actions & your speech. Anger, if not controlled it can put you in many problems.

Out of anger did you ever shout at your siblings or your friends and then feel sorry for what you did? Or have you lost people in your life because of your impulsive behavior ? Did you know how bad  is anger for your health?

Effects of anger on health

Stress & Depression
Headaches & Migrane
Effects on skin
Effects on appetite
Digestion and immunity
High blood pressure
Heart problems


Whenever your in a bad mood or upset and angry consider the following things :

1)Don't let your emotions affect your actions. You might take a wrong decision or speak abusive things which can hurts others sentiments. You don't want to do anything you may regret in future.

2)Count reverse . When someone is getting on your nerves and you really feel the need to cool off your temper start counting reverse from 50 - 1.

3)Physical activities can help you calm your self. Indulging in healthy physical activities will keep you fit mentally and physically.

4) Distract your self by reading a book , listening to music etc.

5)Watching a funny movie,  eat what you love like a pizza or a pastry , go out with friends.

6)Play with your pet.

7)Stop thinking about things that bring you down . Negative thoughts will make you more upset.

8)If you are very angry and want to be alone go and find a good spot( sitting beside a calm lake or a park bench) where you can give yourself time to think and no one will disturb you.

9)Share it off. Keeping things inside you will make things worse . Share your problems with someone who can understand you and who is trustworthy. It will make you feel better.

10)  Deep breathing /Yoga
It will help you relax and calm down the anger. Yoga and meditation on daily basis will help you manage your anger easily, gives you positive vibes , a stress free and a happy life.

                      I  am not at all a person who gets angry for petty things & also I cannot gel up with moody and short tempered ones. Life is too short to live it with stress, anger and negativity. :)
